Terms of Service

Welcome to Family Tree Mentorship! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, FamilyTreeMentorship.com, and any services we provide, including our online courses, certification program, and mentorship services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Introduction

Family Tree Mentorship (“we,” “us,” or “our”), aka Family Tree Mentorship LLC, is a U.S.-based company providing online psychological support, with a focus on supporting individuals globally through accompaniment.

“Mentor” applies to persons employed by Family Tree Mentorship LLC who provide Mentorship Services for Family Tree Mentorship.

“Mentee” (“you,” “your”) applies to persons receiving Mentorship Services from a Family Tree Mentorship Mentor.

These Terms apply to all users of the Family Tree Mentorship website and services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, including any future modifications. We reserve the right to change, update, or modify these Terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the services signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Eligibility

To access our services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law. By using our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update your account or purchase details as necessary. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

4. Services Provided

Family Tree Mentorship offers the following services:

Mentorship Services: Personalized mentorship for individuals seeking guidance in their personal or professional journey, based on Catholic principles.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our services without notice. We are not responsible for the availability or timeliness of any service.

5. Payments, Refunds and Cancellations

Payment for all services is required before the delivery of any courses, certifications, or mentorship programs. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. We may accept other forms of payments at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Policy:

For Mentorship programs, deposits and payments are generally non-refundable due to the hands-on nature and preparation required. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. No prorated refunds will be issued.

Mentorship Trial Period Cancellation Policy:

All valid Mentorship Trial Period cancellations will take effect at the end of the trial period.

First time Mentees are entitled to a full refund after completion of the trial period provided you both (1) submit a Mentorship Cancellation Form at https://www.familytreementoring.com/my-subscriptions on any day during the trial period and (2) meet the conditions of trying the program.

The “trial period” is the first 2 weeks (14 calendar days) of your Mentorship, beginning with your Mentorship start date.

The “Mentorship start date” occurs when both (1) you pay your first Mentorship invoice and (2) you are placed in a communication chat group (usually Voxer) with your Mentor.

“Trying the program” means you must use the communication space (usually Voxer) created for you and your Mentor to leave messages for 10 consecutive weekdays beginning on your Mentorship start date, even after you have already submitted a Mentorship Cancellation Form.

Mentorship Cancellation Policy:

All Mentorship cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no prorated refunds will be issued.

Mentorship services must be cancelled at least 1 week (7 calendar days) before the end of your billing period. If you cancel with less than 7 days left until the end of your billing period, you will be charged for the next full month. To cancel Mentorship, you must submit a Mentorship Cancellation Form at https://www.familytreementoring.com/my-subscriptions.

Mentorship Reinstatement (Reversal of Cancellation) Policy:

There is no reversal of cancellation or Mentorship reinstatement after a cancellation has been processed. If you change your mind and want to continue Mentorship, simply call or email us using the contact information on the website. If there has been no break in Mentorship, we will start a new subscription beginning at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not have to schedule a consultation call or fill out an intake form. If there has been any gap in Mentorship, the Mentor will determine whether a consultation call and/or new intake form is needed.
